“Defence, Counter-Terrorism and Security” – HEMUS 2024
The 16th edition of the HEMUS International Defence Equipment and Services Exhibition has successfully concluded. This year’s event was held under the theme “Defence, Counter-Terrorism and Security.” HEMUS brings together Bulgarian and international manufacturers of defence equipment, suppliers, representatives of government institutions, industry experts, as well as scientific and educational organizations. The exhibition provides a platform for presenting innovations, research developments, advanced products and services in the fields of defence and security. The G. S. Rakovski National Defence College participated with its own exhibition stand, presenting its educational opportunities and capabilities. Visitors were introduced to the College’s aviation training centre, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and related systems. Particular interest was shown in the Master’s degree programmes offered by the National Defence College, which combine modern academic education with leadership development and a strong focus on civic responsibility in the fields of security and defence. On the final day of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Defence Adelina Nikolova presented the G. S. Rakovski National Defence College with a plaque and certificate in recognition of its overall presentation at HEMUS 2024. The international exhibition is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and expertise between representatives of industry, science, government and non-governmental organizations. It provides an important environment for discussions and cooperation in the areas of investment, innovation, joint research and technological development. A wide range of accompanying events and professional meetings also took place throughout the exhibition, further strengthening dialogue and cooperation across the defence and security sectors. Fernet Bulgaria at HEMUS 2024 Fernet Bulgaria delivered the exhibition stand for IAI, based on the concept and design provided by the Israeli agency Beiman-Cohen-Biran. The project once again demonstrated Fernet Bulgaria’s experience in the professional execution of international exhibition projects, combining precise technical implementation, high-quality construction and attention to every detail.
